Subsidised rate of €550 per month is all-inclusive of fully furnished accommodation [sheets, towels, kitchen], studio, exhibition prep costs.
There is no fee to apply; all instructions and forms are online.
Founded in 2007 as The Irish Museum of Contemporary Art, IMOCA is an artist-led initiative dedicated to advancing education about, awareness and appreciation of, and participation in contemporary, experimental and emerging arts practices. In 2015 IMOCA has evolved into the Independent Museum of Contemporary Arts, with affiliate projects and art centres in various countries.
The objective of the residency is to produce work for a solo exhibition, or in some cases curate an exhibition.
The residency provides accommodation, studio workspace, exhibiton space.
Each facilities houses a number of various studios, depending on the needs of the artist.
There is a library of media equipment available [projectors, monitors etc] and they will work to liaise the artist with various service providers as possible.
