Heinrich-Heine-Haus
The Heinrich-Heine-Stipend is dedicated to german-speaking authors. Every year the stipend is given to a guest of honor in the Heinrich-Heine-House. This stipend allows support of the literature projects in the Lüneburg region for authors and readers.
Fully furnished apartment on the first floor of the Heinrich-Heine-House of 50 qm. with work space (26 sqm), bathroom, kitchen (10 sqm) and bedroom (10 sqm). A little amount of money will be taken from the stipend to compensate for the living costs.
Heinrich Heine visited his parents in Lueneburg, as they lived on the second floor of the House (between 1822 and 1826). This episode gave the name to the house and explains the decision to create a place for Literature and for the transmission of literature.
