Online application on the Cite internationale website.
Houses representing a state on the campus of the Cite internationale have their own admission procedure. If your nationality is represented by a Cité Internationale house, approach the relevant house to find out what steps to take.
The Cité internationale welcomes residents from the whole world. They offer 20 artist residencies for architects, musicians and visual artists. The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris provides accommodations for foreign artists and cultural professionals. Any artist wanting to apply for accommodation must be invited by a cultural organisation in Île-de-France or be “sent” to Île-de-France by a cultural organisation in his or her country of residence. Once this criterion has been met, applications are processed according to availability in the Cité Internationale halls of residence.
Most rooms at the Cité Internationale are “standard” (with a single or double bed and a sink, with showers, toilets and kitchen on the same floor), luxury (with a single or double bed, sink, shower and toilet, with a kitchen on the same floor) and studio apartments (with a single or double bed, sink, shower, toilets and kitchenette). Studio apartments are reserved for researchers alone or with their families, as are the two-bedroom apartments on the site.
There are work/living studio's, soundproof studio's for musicians and composers, rehersal studio's and private living accomodations.
