Centro de la Imagen
The National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) and the Centro de la Imagen are collaborating to offer a six-month residency at the Contemporary Photography Seminar held at the Centro de la Imagen. Centro is a photography institution supported by the National Council for Culture and the Arts dedicated to promote fine art photography. At the Seminar the student is encouraged to develop his/her personal thoughts on the media through the production of his/her work as well as to conduct theoretical research, all this under the guidance of both national and international instructors. As a conclusion to this Seminar a show of the final project will be prepared. During this Seminar the student will benefit from advice by one chair-person, six Mexican visual artists and curators, three lecturers and participation in three international workshops.
