They give some grants throughout the year.
The residency fee covers the cost for accommodation, studio, logistical and technical support from the Casa Lü staff, project feedback from guest artist or curator, group exhibition and opening reception etc.
There is no fixed deadline for applications. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance 1-2 weeks after submitting their application. In order to apply please fill out the application form and send your CV and 5-10 images of your work to [email protected]. Once the residency dates are confirmed you will be asked to pay half of the residency fee. The 2nd half of the fee must be paid upon arrival.

Casa Lü is also a place where you can take temporary refuge to concentrate on your artistic practice. The aim of the program is for residents to focus on the production of their work while creating a network and dialogue within emerging artists from all over the world. The participants live and work in Casa Lü. While working on their personal projects they are encouraged to visit Mexico City's dynamic art scene. The organisers provide a calendar with openings and other artistic events, as well as a list of recommendations for museums, galleries and other local attractions.
There are weekly meetings for work critiques, discussions and other activities. Residents are invited to present their work in a group show at the end of their stay.
They have 5 bedrooms. 3 with a private bathroom and 2 with a shared bathroom.

Kiln for ceramics and power tools to work with wood.
