Description

Studio Burdag is a private space run by a family of a dancer, an actress and a composer. It is a working and living space for creating, experimenting and training. A place designed to facilitate investigation in the performance practice designed for artists working in the field of dance, theater, music and in-between those art forms as well as for other activities that involve the need to focus away from the urban daily life. On the premises there are 3 buildings altogether. The old house, the newly converted barn which today contains the studio, the bedrooms and the kitchen/dining/living space, and an old barn.

Studio Information

One large studio - 13m by 9m, 6m high - with wooden, sprang floor; for the exclusive use of residents (24h availability).

Accommodation Information

Double rooms, kitchen. Artists live and work in a separate house. In total they can comfortably accommodate 22 people.

Technical Information

They've started working with the training teams - experts from various fields: trainers, psychologists, dance teachers, dance and movement therapists, coaches. This gives you the opportunity to benefit from all kinds of workshops and training.

Studio Burdag is located on an old farm 2km away from a small village named Burdag. It is 194 km away from Warsaw and 205 km from Gdansk in the district of lakes and forests called Mazury.
