All applications should be made on the online form. You will first be asked either to create Bundanon Trust account or to sign into an existing account. To create an account, name and email needed.
The online form will ask for the following information: dates of residency, working requirements, short biography of all artists involved, short project description, examples of your work (writing, images, video, sound, or anything else that you consider best represents your practice).
The Artist in Residence program is open to professional artists and thinkers from all disciplines, individually or in groups. The Bundanon Trust supports new work, research and collaborations by Australian and international artists, and can host them in purpose-built studios on the Shoalhaven River properties on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia.
Most residencies happen at Bundanon in the Artist-in-Residence complex. The complex offers accommodation as well as studio and rehearsal space for up to ten people in single and shared apartments and cottages. Larger groups are hosted in the Boyd Education Centre at Riversdale, which can accommodate up to 36 people in shared rooms.
Residents can make use of shared kitchen.
Check out all the studios on offer at the Bundanon Trust here.
There is a printing press stored in the Dorothy Porter Studio that is available to residents. The hosts may also be able to supply a data projector, a projection screen and a sound system, depending on availability. Enquire for equipment in advance.
All the studios at Bundanon have internet access via either WiFi or Ethernet (cable not supplied).
Two sites for artists' residencies: Bundanon and Riversdale.
