Res Artis
Res Artis is the Association of International Residential Art Centers. Res Artis supports and represents the interests of residential arts centres and related organisations world wide.
Since its foundation in 1993 Res Artis has grown into the sole world wide network of residential arts centres. The network also represents organisations of international residential art centres. Some of those themselves represent numerous residences, such as the Alliance of Artists' Communities (100 USA members) and the German Künstlerhaüser (30 members).
In recent years Res Artis has developed an active policy to integrate residential art centers in Africa, Asia and South America in the network. As a result, Res Artis now represents the interests of about 200 centers and organizations in 50 countries world wide.

Res Artis: for the residency hosts
- Being a network of residential art centres Res Artis obviously represents the interests of these centers. The network has developed expertise in spotting what is needed from the world wide perspective of the providers of artist-in-residence programs.
Trans Artists: for the residency guests
- Trans Artists primarily focuses on the needs of individual artists, who are searching for information about residency opportunities.
