On this page, you will find interviews conducted by the TransArtists staff in the framework of Antenna, past projects, newsletters etc. Since 2016, we publish here extended interviews with a current or recent resident at an artist-in-residence three times a year in order to bring to you the multifaceted world of residencies, seen through the eyes of your fellow artists.

Learn the Language of Your Neighbour

2015 - interview in the framework of Antenna #1 - In Translation

On a Saturday evening a dialogue took place between performers on both banks of the river Danube between Štúrovo, Slovakia, and Esztergom, Hungary. Words and music were sent back and forth over the 500 meters wide river surface, which were entrusted to communicate a text by AquaPhone initiators Hanneke and Karol Frühauf in German, and in Slovak and Hungarian translation.

Tina Zlatina was an artist-in-residence at EKWC, Oisterwijk, the Netherlands, as a part of the M4M EU programme by Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes. TransArtists coordinated the Dutch part of the programme.
