Apply Now for Omi International Artists Residency
Art Omi is now accepting applications from visual artists from all over the world. The International Artists Residency is a 3 week residency program in upstate New York. Art Omi provides artists with a studio, living quarters and meals. Each year, a different critic-in-residence is on hand to lead discussions and make one-on-one studio visits.

Interactivos?'09: Call for Projects and Papers
Open call for the submission of projects and theoretical works to be presented and developed within the context of the international workshop-seminar Interactivos?'09: Garage Science. The socialization of technology and the accessibility of information available on the Web make it increasingly easy for anyone to have the possibility of building a home laboratory. Interactivos?'09 aims to explore these practices, where art, science and technology meet. The participants are invited to turn medialab into a garage laboratory.

Artist-to-Artist International Scheme
Visiting Arts in partnership with The Delfina Foundation announces the 2009 edition of Artist-to-Artist International scheme. The programme will have a specific geographic focus by inviting artists from across the Middle East and North Africa. It provides an opportunity to bring together artists to initiate dialogues across international borders, enabling pairs of artists to enter into new working relationships on an open-ended and informal basis. Professional, practising UK based artists can apply to invite an artist of their choice, from the below prioritised countries, to visit them in the UK for one week.- When: March 23 - 29

FAIR: a New Nordic Residency Program
The Factory of Art and Design has just initiated a new residency program for Nordic artists called FAIR. The artist must be from one of the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Greenland or the Faroe Islands) or have his or her primary artistic practice in one of these countries to apply. The first application deadline is 10th of December!

MAXXIduepercento International Competition
MAXXIduepercento is an international call for young artists for the design of two works of art for MAXXI, the new National Museum of 21st Century Art in Rome, which will be inaugurated in 2009. The total prize money available for the competition is 1,130,000 euro.

Jan van Eyck Academie: Call for applications
Extrastatecraft: Hidden Organizations, Spatial Contagions and Activism, a new project of the Design department, researches underexplored territory in the world's infrastructural and organizational strata. The work focuses on shared protocols, managerial subroutines and financial instruments as they produce and program physical space around the world. Artists, designers and theoreticians interested in this project can apply with a research proposal. Selected candidates gain the position of researcher at the Design department of the Jan van Eyck Academie.

London Palestine Film Festival 2009
Run by The Palestine Film Foundation (PFF), the London Palestine Film Festival showcases dozens of videos and films dealing with the subject of Palestine each year. The PFF is now inviting submissions from filmmakers and distributors. The Festival embraces a wide variety of genres and encourages filmmakers of all nationalities to participate in the festival.

Gulliver Connect Mobility Programme
A mobility programme through work placements for young and up-coming artists, art managers and cultural operators in Europe. The new call for applications is for those who wish to apply as visitor and/or host organisation from Albania, Austria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Ukraine.
