Netherlands - Japan artist-in-residence exchange visit, 2005

Trans Artists organized a visiting program for Japanese representatives of residential art centers. From September 22 to September 27, 2005, Trans Artists introduced 8 Japanese visitors to the Dutch world of artist-in-residence. The focus was to develop future exchanges and dialogues between artist-in-residence programmers in the Netherlands and Japan. The program was organized in co-operation with the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the Royal Dutch Embassy in Tokyo, the Gaudeamus Foundation, the Mondriaan Foundation and the Service Centre for International Cultural Activities (SICA).
