Description
St. Joost offers a full-time masters course in Den Bosch/ Breda in the South of the Netherlands. A select group of artists is given the opportunity to enrich and professionalize their work under the guidance of a energetic team of teachers and guests. St. Joost MFA is practice orientated, with a stimulating theoretical component. Students are constantly challenged to deepen their own work while operating in different environments and situations, and while using different concepts and themes. St. Joost MFA operates in an international network and offers students the chance to present their work in a professional and international context.
Technical Information
St. Joost Academy is situated just behind Den Bosch Central Station. The academy has an extensive range of facilities at its disposal such as a media library and numerous specialized workspaces for example: ceramics, metal, wood, graphic art, computer, printshop, and photo studios.
Studio Information
Students must have their own studio space. At the Academy building in Den Bosch a shared working space is offered, but this is meant as an additional facility to one's own studio space.

Post St. Joost is located in Breda and Den Bosch, both cities in the province of Northern-Brabant, in the South of the Netherlands.

Application Criteria
To be eligible for admission to Post St. Joost Fine Art you must hold a bachelor diploma in Fine Art and/or Design, or have achieved a comparable standard of work through experience. Admissions are determined on the basis of an assessment of submitted work, a written motivation, a proposal for a photographic, video, or film project, a theoretical paper or final thesis, followed by an interview. Foreign applicants are very welcome to apply!
