Transport for the artists from Mumbai International Airport to the Residency space. There are daily buses coming to the city at all times of the day.
For International Artists: The rent is 550 USD. per month and sepcial offer for three months is 1400 USD. It includes a room for accommodation, space for work or practice water and electricity. For Artists from India the rent will be Rs. 15,000/- per month for each artist.
Travel costs (inc. visa), health insurance and other personal expenses are paid by the artist themselves.

Shilp-Shala is a newly built residency space, nestled in the hills on the outskirts of Mumbai. The purpose of this residency is to provide a space for creation, encourage exchange between artists and different artistic disciplines.
There are 2 rooms (40 sq. m each) located on the upper floor of the House with attached toilets and a common kitchen in common spaces.
The work/training spaces are located on the lower level of the same building as accommodation, each measuring from (40 Sq.m each), with wifi connection.

Shilp-Shala is situated 100 kms away from Mumbai on the Khopoli Pali road. It is an hour and a half away by road from Mumbai.
The near village is Pali about 8kms. picturesque rural village, like a tiny town with markets, shops, restaurants and cafés. In leisure time there are good possibilities for jogging, swimming as there is a quiet river just 5 mins. walking distance from the house.
