Description
The research program la Seine is intended for young artists who have completed a diploma of master level, or equivalent. Eligible applicants must have been actively involved in pursuing their artistic practice outside of an academic institution for a minimum of one year. The pedagogy of the program is based on the exchange of knowledge and skills linked to artistic thought, processes, and practice. Along with offering a rich context to work in, the program seeks to provide the professional conditions for the students to best develop their future artistic direction. The program facilitates both the sharing of individual practice and group critical examination.
Technical Information
This program is located in the centre of Ensba, in the Atelier Devot, a refurbished three-story space. The first floor of the program's studio houses the studio workspace, which is dedicated to the production of the students' work. On the second level, there is a mezzanine equipped for the production of new media digital work. The top floor area is allocated to meetings and discussion sessions.
Studio Information
Candidates will receive a grant for research and production, which can amount to up to 3000 euro a year.
