Description
Nes artist residency was founded by the town of Skagströnd and the government run Byggðastofnun, which provided the residency with the building located at Fjörubraut 8 in Skagaströnd. This building, which formerly housed a fishing plant, will from now on house the international artist residency for artists of all media. The artists will be both local and foreign, and their families.

from 400 to 650 euro per month (accommodation and studio space included)
Location
Skagaströnd town, in northern Iceland, has about 600 inhabitants. The town has in it’s neighborhood a golf course, horse-farms, mountains to climb, fishing boats in the harbor and a swimming pool.
