Application guidelines 

Applications are open to artists and professionals from the any artistic background: plastic arts, visual arts, architecture, design, music, cultural management, etc.

For the purpose of the application, the following support documents are required:

  • Application form.
  • Short curriculum vitae containing references to recent work (webpages, photos, videos, etc.).
  • Project plan to be developed during the residency.
  • Calendar or work plan for the project.
  • Budget of the project.

Description 

The Gas Natural Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art is a multidisciplinary artistic and cultural centre of A Coruña, Spain. The museum, comprising a 8.000 m2 space, begins its activity in 1990 having as a mission supporting artistic creation through diverse training and international mobility programs for artists. Besides these programs, the museum is involved in an intense process of acquisition of art works for its corporative collection.

With the aim of boosting its international activity, supporting arts creators and fostering investigation and innovation in the arts field, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Gas Natural Fenosa opens its Artist-in-residence Program offering 2 residencies. Each selected artist or arts professional will benefit from a 2 month residence within the program.

With the aim of supporting artists and culture workers and fostering investigation and innovation in the arts field, the MAC calls for applications for 10 artists residences, of which 4 are international and 6 are local.

None provided. The Gas Natural Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art assists the residents in finding housing for the period of time of the residence in the museum.
