Description
In November 1999 the Chinese European Art Center has been formally founded as a joint venture with the Xiamen University Art College. The foundation has been initiated by Mrs Ineke Gudmundsson from the Netherlands with the co-operation of prof Qin Jian. The programs aims: to introduce Western contemporary art to the Chinese public, establish contacts between Western and Chinese artists, create an opportunity for foreign artists to work in China, provide information about Chinese art-life to the participants, create a community of contemporary artists in Xiamen populated by Chinese and Western artists.

The apartments/studios have two sleeping rooms, kitchen, bathrooms and all have balconies. The apartments are furnished and fully equipped for living and working beds, blankets, refrigerators and everything needed for the kitchen, air co, washing machine, telephone with internet, TV and DVD player.
