Description
This Poetry Residency in Constanta will be held every year in April. It is dedicated to the Roman poet Ovid who lived in Constanta his last 10 years of life. Black Sea Residency wants to be a meeting point for poets and artists from all over the world. The most obvious goal is the realization of a work either jointly or individually. The suggested general theme of the residency is Exile, related to Ovid's life and work. Open to poetry but also to projects from any artistic field linked with poetry, Black Sea or Ovids work and to any artist who will show that participation would be a must for him/her. At the end of the residency an anthology with all the participants' work is going to be published in Romanian and English.
